Project Proposal

I have decided to name my game Journey to Canada.

Story: You are simple Florida man, enjoying the crisp sun-kissed beaches and biting the occasional man's face off. But one day you wake up after a night of partying to a apocalyptic nightmare, the crazy face eaters of Florida have turned into undead crazy face eaters! You pack your bags with food, which at the time was just SPAM, picked up the nearest butter knife as a weapon and left everyone you knew and loved behind expect one... You decide that the safest place to escape the dead was the one place know Floridan would dare venture... The True North... Canada! Will you make it to sanctuary or perish along the way to America brain-dead inhabitants?

Coding Process:

Plan:

1. Create Characters and artwork in Photoshop
2. Animate Characters and other assets
3. Start scratch programming, upload sprites
4. Confirm controls, polish up everything

    Wow, great background story for your game. My worry after reading your proposal is that this game may take you longer than 4 classes to finish. So make sure you adjust your game as you go to possibly simplify it so that the game can be finished in four classes. I look forward to playing your finished game!

How did you solve them? I modified the hitboxes of the ship and created another room set before the asteroids room to act as a proper menu. What did you change in your game to make it unique? How do these changes affect gameplay? I added a menu system, I changed the ship design, I changed the dead player design, I sped up the ship speed, and I shortened the invincibility time. These changes create a more challenging and polished game.
